Slow Food Emilia-Romagna rewarded us by joining the community of the Slow Food Chefs’ Alliance, a result obtained thanks to the fundamental collaboration between restaurant “Il Bassotto” led by the chef Franco and the local producers of our Apennines, a sustainable project for the protection of agri-food biodiversity, for the safeguarding of gastronomic knowledge and local cultures. Let’s start again from the earth, let’s start again from the Apennines.
The Slow Food Alliance is a pact between chefs and small producers to promote good, fair and clean local foods and to save biodiversity. The cooks of the Alliance using the products of farmers, breeders, cheesemakers, fishermen, winegrowers, artisans who produce with passion and respect for the land and their animals every day in their kitchens. On their menus you can find local products, Slow Food Presidia, Ark of Taste products, Earth Markets and Slow Food communities.
